Swedish Massage
This is basic relaxation massage incorporating five strokes: effleurage (gliding), petrissage (kneading), friction, vibration, and tapotement (percussion). This is the most common relaxation massage given worldwide. The flowing strokes invite you to let go of your daily stress as you relax.
Deep Tissue Massage
Access the deeper muscles to relieve chronic pain and tension. Using forearms and elbows, slow strokes are applied to areas of high tension.
Hot Stone Massage
Enjoy the warmth of heated stones and experience the grounding of Gaia’s energy. In this therapy warm and hot stones are placed on the body and used to massage away tension and stress. Longer session required: 90 –120 minutes.
Neuromuscular Therapy
This therapy combines both Swedish and Deep Tissue strokes, focusing on releasing chronic patterns of tension, pain and trigger points. Neuromuscular Therapy utilizes static pressure on
specific myofacial points to relieve pain. This technique manipulates the soft tissue of the body (muscles, tendons and connective tissue) to encourage balance in the central nervous system.
Prenatal Massage
Treat your body right during pregnancy. A specially designed pillow is provided to allow the expecting mother to lie on her belly with full support. Prenatal massage also an be done side-lying. Focus is usually on the shoulders and hips where the mom-to-be is feeling the effects of pregnancy the most but can include full body.
Aromatherapy Massage
Add a boost to your massage with essential oils. A variety of earthy scents to choose from to relax or stimulate the body, uplift the senses and explore higher spiritual depths. Please come early to choose your scent or your therapist will be happy to choose one for you.
Reflexology
This modality mainly focuses on the feet but can also be applied to the hands. There are over 7,200 nerve endings in the feet, which are like mirrors of the body. When pressure and massage is applied to the feet, relaxation and tension release is welcomed to the body and mind. This is great for people who stand on their feet often. This service combines some massage as well as reflexology specific techniques.
Thai Foot Reflexology
This treatment is a pleasure to experience. The practitioner starts by gently washing and wrapping the clients feet. The foot is then massaged using a variety of techniques to warm and relax. Thai Reflexology is different than traditional western Reflexology by using a Thai Foot Tool to stimulate each of the thirty-six reflexology points. Leg, arm, hand, shoulder and neck massage is included in this one hour treatment. Essential oils can be added at any time.

Yoga
Yoga is an ancient healing art that can be used to treat physical or emotional tension and pain, encourage spiritual well-being, bring awareness to the breath and the body, and for general relaxation. Using physical poses and the breath, we can help improve balance, posture, release tension and improve flexibility. Group classes and private lessons are available.
Usui Reiki
Reiki is a Japanese method of energy healing with ancient Buddhist roots, of utilizing the field of energy in and around the body for healing through laying of hands. It both calms and stimulates energy flow and enhances the conditions for self-healing inherent in the body. This can affect the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual levels of our being.
Jin Shin Acupressure
This gentle, simple and noninvasive art shares many of the same concepts upon which acupuncture is based. Utilizing the life force that emanates from our fingertips, a gentle but penetrating touch is applied to the body to support the natural flow of the body’s energy system. There are 26 bilateral energy release points that can be focused on during this session.
Craniosacral Therapy
This healing method accesses the Craniosacral System, which includes the cranium, spine, and sacrum. It helps to jump-start the healing mechanism in the body using light touch. This therapy method is especially great for chronic pain, TMJ, headache and migraine sufferers, autism, and many other conditions.
Chair Massage
Don't have time in your busy day for a traditional massage? Try a shorter massage in our ergonomically designed chair which allows one to remained clothed while still receiving all the great benefits of massage. Muscles of the neck, shoulders, back, arms and hands can be targetted to reduce muscle tension and strain. This modality is great in a work setting. Treat your office right by bringing in one or more of our trained staff to relax you and your coworkers.
Quantum Touch
This energy based healing modality applies the principles of resonance and entrainment, in combination with yogic breathing techniques and visualization to promote wellness and accelerate healing. The practitioner raises his or her own vibration and creates a high level of energy. When
that energy field is placed around an area of pain, stress, inflammation or disease, that part of the body will entrain to the higher frequency and encourage the healing process.
Lymphatic Massage
The lymphatic system is essential as the body's drainage system for cleansing and filtering out of bacteria and toxins. Congested lymph pathways can cause soreness, aches, pains and flu-like symptoms. Lymphatic massage or lymph drainage massage is a technique used to help increase lymph flow. Increased lymph flow removes harmful substances from the tissues, therefore, detoxifying the body and increases immune function. This type of massage can be useful in cases of edema, sports injury or for people experiencing a sluggish immune system or those suffering from a lack of energy.
